Protected nature reserve: the wetlands also include peat meadows lying between the melioratite moat and the Vidnávka riveron the left side of the road to the state border with Poland. Rare species of aquatic plants occur in the community of swamps alders, willows, reeds and sedges. The extraordinary diversity of animal species is confirmed here. Many species of birds have been observed in the wetlands. The Vidnava wetlands represent a unique natural locality, which is one of the most important in the entire Jeseník district.
